Presumably, Samsung is going to add another device to its tablet range as their last tablet — the S2 — was launched back in September 2015. Reportedly, the S3 will feature a curved display which will curve both at its right and left sides — the same has been rumoured for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8. As per the leaked image, there are four physical buttons on the device. The two located on the left will be the volume buttons, while one on the right will the power key and the second one remains questionable. The second key on the right can be a button for Samsung’s AI-assistant — Bixby — which has been rumoured to come with the future devices for a while now.
Processor Unit
The upcoming S3 tablet is rumoured to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 64-bit octa-core SoC which is supported by Adreno 530 GPU and clocks at a maximum of 2.2GHz.
Storage and Memory
The device might come with 4GB RAM, which is in-line with this year’s trend and 128GB of storage space, with the capability to expand via external SD cards. Samsung might also launch 32GB and 64GB variants of the device depending on the individual markets.
Camera and Display
Samsung’s upcoming rumoured tablet will sport a 12MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera, which will project those images on the 9.6-inch 2048 x 1536 AMOLED display. The Home button below the screen which also doubled up as a fingerprint sensor seems to be missing on the front panel in the leaked images. Samsung has created enough buzz around the device for people to keep their eyes up at the Mobile World Congress later this month in Barcelona, Spain and assuredly, there is going to be some big announcement from the company — probably about the Galaxy S3 tab or Galaxy S8.
